How to install Budgie desktop on Ubuntu 17.10

GNOME and KDE are two very well known desktop environments for Linux. Unity desktop spun off from GNOME and made its debut with Ubuntu 10.10, roughly 8 years ago, but due to poor execution and planning, the project got axed. Ubuntu 17.10 came packaged with GNOME as its default desktop environment. Recently, a new player is in the industry, which seems like have a promising future according to me.

Budgie desktop environment is one of the wonderful contributions of Solus team and several other contributors to the Linux community. It is developed from scratch, and uses technologies similar to GNOME such as GTK+. The desktop looks modern, polished, and very light-weight.
