How to delete all Emails from particular sender in Gmail

I am sure, if you are a Gmail user, your inbox folder or email archive folder always looks cluttered. Why? We are rarely bothered about deleting messages we no longer require. That said, most email programs and services allow you to sort email messages by particular sender and delete them if present in bulk.Today, we will see how to mass delete all emails in bulk, at once, from one particular or specific sender in Gmail.

The Search function in Gmail has a key role to play in this task. The little feature in Gmail allows you to perform a search for all messages from a particular sender and then delete them all at once without having to navigate from one page to another to delete them.

Delete all Emails from particular sender in Gmail

Enter your email address and password to access your Gmail account.

In the upper right-hand corner of your account, you will notice a gear-shaped 'Settings' icon. Click the icon.

Now, for creating a filter to sort all the email from a particular/specific sender click on 'Filter and block addresses'.

After that, hit the 'Create a new filter' button.

Enter the email address of the sender in 'From field' and me in 'To Field' and click the blue search icon.

Now perform the search operation by hitting the search icon in the bar. Within seconds, the complete list of all the email from the specified email address was listed. Here, you can simply select all of the emails you want to delete and in the end hit the Trash icon to dump them all in the bin.

Please note that the page you see lists only 100 most recent emails from the sender. If there are more emails from the sender, they will be spread across multiple pages.

To delete all of them in one go, click the 'Select' checkbox visible just adjacent to the Archive folder. The action when confirmed will select all the 100 email message on one current page without having you to select them individually.

The action may also sound an alert and display a message reading - “All 100 conversations on this page are selected. Select all conversation that match this search“.

To select all the emails, hit “… Select all conversation that match this search“.  Finally, click the 'Trash' icon.

Hope this helps you keep your Gmail inbox clean.
