List your Favorite Companies Under Windows 8 Finance App Watchlist

Windows 8 makes it easier to keep a track of things that interest you. For instance, Windows 8 Finance App, powered by Bing, lets you track the fast-changing market conditions & make the most informed financial decisions, accordingly. The app, in short, gives a quick snapshot idea of current market conditions via regular updates.

By default, the app lists most major companies and displays information about them in a clean and neat background via informative graphics and charts. However, if you find that your favorite company is not listed under the app's watchlist, you may add it to the app. Here's a short tutorial explaining you how to get the job done.

Add your company to Windows 8 Finance app's watchlist

Launch the Finance app from the Windows 8 start Screen. The Windows 8 Start screen has the potential to be a great application launcher! When done, scroll the interface towards right, until you find the 'Watchlist' section.

Search for a tile with a “+” sign. Press the button! In the 'Add to watchlist' window that opens up, type in the name of your favorite company and select the desired source from the list of suggestions. Hit the 'Add' button!

You will notice a new tile being added to the watchlist.

Simply click on it to view information in detail. Now you can keep track of stocks, mutual funds and more that are in your own portfolio.

Moreover, you can bypass the step of visiting the Finance app every time, launching it and then searching for your favorite company's market status by pinning it to the start screen. Here's how to do it.

Simply right-click on your company's tile visible under watchlist section of the app. From the options displayed below it, select 'Pin to Start'.

When prompted again, confirm the action once more.

That's it! You are now always just a click away from checking your favorite company's stock results.
